Rosario Concha is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Sociology and Criminology at the University of Miami. Her research interests are gender-based violence, abortion criminalization, and archival research from a critical feminist outlook. She received her MPhil in Chilean and Hispanic Literature from the University of Chile, and her MA in Sociology from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. Â Rosario is currently the project director for the Miami Community Assessment of Police Responses to Gender Violence and a member of the Latin+ Feminist Sociology Collective that congregates latin+ feminist scholars working in the Global North (https://www.latinplusfeministcollective.org).
